On Wednesday 27 September Venturis Consulting Benelux and the weekly business publication Elsevier organised a seminar hosted by ABNAMRO in their head office in Amsterdam on the developments in the Benelux Corporate M&A market. In 2 sessions, 12 selected Dutch law firms discussed trends, the M&A future for the participating firms and the increasing segmentation in the Dutch market. Among others, Venturis research and analysis over the last 3 years show certain trends: (a) the growing market share of the anglo-american firms; (b) the progress of the accountants; (c) the success of the so-called M&A niche/boutique firms; (d) the lack of growth in market share among some of the traditional Dutch, independent firms; and (e) the increasingly clear market segmentation and differences in competitive positioning of the main players in the Benelux.
The main outcomes of the seminars will be published by Elsevier in November (in Dutch).
The next Elsevier – Venturis Round Table focusses on Recruitment strategies and strategic sourcing for law firms was organised together with the DRB Group in The Hague on 2 October. Together with the participating law firms Venturis partner Sabijn Dullaart identified the “drivers” of a succesful recruitment strategy and explains the essentials of the approach to strategic sourcing developed by Venturis Consulting.
