Profile & Professional background

Wolf was Director Human Resources at Clifford Chance Germany until June 2018. In this role, he was involved in various national and international HR-projects (including out-sourcing/e-file/SLA´s). Before he joined Clifford Chance in 2000 he worked as a consultant at PA Consulting and as HR-Director at KPMG Consulting Germany (who later became Bearing Point). He spent almost another 10 years in the Financial Sector and Chemical Industry (Hoechst AG).

People Development was always key and in the heart of his work. Be it for individuals, be it for Trainees and internal development programs up to Director level (BfG Bank AG) be it for potential Partner candidates at KPMG and Clifford Chance. The development and successful implementation of a tailored Exec. Education Program with INSEAD for Continental Europe and Asia participants is still seen as a landmark at Clifford Chance. First line knowledge paired with real world experience in restructering matters like closing offices or substantial headcount reduction relating to fee earner and Business Services complete his background.

Education & Memberships

Wolf holds a Diploma in Psychology and a commercial apprenticeship. He is fluent in English and his French is at a conversational level.

• Conducting an HR-Review at an international Law Firm: Analyzing processes, structure and set-up.
• Conducting an Associate-Survey through interviews in an international law firm in Germany.
• Market Overview: A project and analysis about expectations of the next generation of lawyers, offerings from market players and – as a result – advice as how to cope with and what needs to done.
• Evaluating and developing of a client firm’s culture in order to make it more attractive for clients as well as for all the members of this International Law Firm.
