Victoria is a Partner at Venturis Consulting Group and has worked as a lawyer in the business law space for more than 20 years, six years at one of Sweden’s leading law firms and fourteen years heading up the legal function in three different companies, including at Tele2, Sweden’s second largest telecom operator. She has always been passionate about developing how legal work is carried out and in 2020 she founded Glowmind, a boutique legal management consulting firm. She joined Venturis in 2021. Victoria helps legal departments optimize daily operations and develop and transform the legal function for the future, and helps law firms orient towards client centricity, to increase competitiveness on a changing market.
Profile & Professional background
Victoria worked at Delphi law firm for six years, broadly with business law but specializing in corporate & M&A, IT law and commercial contracting, working a lot with tech companies. She then headed up the legal function (and other portfolios, such as Sustainability/ESG/CSR, Regulatory and Security) for 14 years, at Tilgin (currently named Seliro), Björn Borg and Tele2. She then started her own boutique legal management consulting firm Glowmind and shortly thereafter joined Venturis. She advices legal departments on strategy & positioning, finding ways to better align to busines and meet business objectives, and building a more effective and scalable operating model/service delivery model and organisation for the future, making use of the new opportunities that technology, innovative approaches and new sourcing options offer.
With her background from both the law firm context and the corporate setting, and the insights she has from working with both legal functions and law firms, she can effectively bridge these two worlds.
Victoria has many years experience from the C-suite and now translates those experiences and the insights she gained into the operation and development the legal function, helping Legal professionalize and align more to business and showcase business value. Victoria understands digital transformation, is a bit of a legal futurist, and is passionate about helping lawyers find ways to adapt to the needs of tomorrow.
Victoria regularly participates as a keynote speaker, moderator and panelist at legal conferences, examples being Future Lawyer Week, Nordic Legal Tech Day, VQ Forum, DI General Counsel and Elevate Legal. She is also a contributor to Centre for Legal leadership.
