For the past 30 years he has been developping and implementing strategic communication, supporting fundamental transformation programmes for professional services firms and B2B clients. He is a specialist in communication, brand and marketing, operating at the intersection of business, science, policy making and society.
Profile & Professional Background
Peter consults professional services firms, technology companies and public institutions on technology-driven change, international and integrated communication and brand management. Before returning to his original consulting role in 2019, he led Marketing & Communications at PwC Germany and PwC Europe for five years, and before that Brand & Communications at IBM in the German-speaking region for ten years. Prior to his inhouse roles he was a Partner at Brodeur Communications, a communications consulting firm specialising in technology, as well as at Kohtes & Klewes Public Relations, Germany’s leading strategic PR firm at the time.
Starting with WHY is Peter’s passion that lends itself to getting to the heart and soul of organizations, understanding their deeply held beliefs and values, uncovering their purpose, and translating all of that into powerful and effective internal and external narratives. That is Peter’s approach to supporting clients in building reputational capital.
Education & Memberships
Peter studied Communications, German Language & Literature and Geography (M.A.) at Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. He is native German, also speaking and writing at near-native level in English.
